| Abstract: | One approach the Commission has adopted to enhance accountability and responsiveness in public service as well as promote compliance with administrative justice is through an awards scheme - Huduma Ombudsman Awards. The scheme is an annual award aimed at recognizing and rewarding responsive and compliant public officers and public institutions in the country. The broad objective of the Awards is to reward contributions of a public officer or institution that lead to a more effective, accountable and responsive public service. |
