Abstract: In this edition, we highlight the study visits by different delegations from the country and the continent. To this end, the Commission hosted delegations from the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and the Advocate Complaints Commission, the Ombudsman Office of the People's Republic of Mozambique, The Commission Hosts a Delegation from Botswana Ombudsman, Geneva Centre for Security Sector Governance and the Military Ombudsman of South Africa among many others. The engagements presented an opportunity for the delegations to learn more about the Commission and presented a learning opportunity and experience sharing. The Commission also continued with the capacity building initiatives where public officers from various Ministries, Departments, and Agencies were trained on effective complaint management and access to information with the officers from two counties; Isiolo and Marsabit being trained. The Commission also upscaled Public awareness and education by participating in the 1st Biennial Devolution Conference at the Eldoret Sports Club, Uasin Gishu County. One memorable complaint the Commission resolved in this edition is of two minors who are Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education who were readmitted back to the school following the intervention of the Commission. The Commission determined that their suspension and re-admission as day scholars was unfair and unjust. The Commission in partnership with Transparency International- Kenya and other partners also hosted activities in Nairobi, Kisumu, and Kwale Counties to commemorate the International Day for Universal Access to Information 2023. Finally, I would like to express my gratitude to the Commissioners and staff for the vital work they are doing in promoting administrative justice and access to information in Kenya through complaints resolution and public education. We will always accomplish more when we collaborate and form partnerships. Through teamwork and partnerships, we will always achieve better.
