dc.description.abstractIn this edition, we take a look back at the "10 Years of Service to Citizens in Addressing Maladministration and Access to Information in Kenya" and how we have managed to right administrative wrongs through complaints handling and investigations, as well as our contribution to good governance in Kenya through the issuance of advisories, public interest litigation, and rewarding excellence in public service. We also bring you news from the DIAR Awards, where the Commission was awarded Best Constitutional Commission and Independent Offices on Diversity, Equality, Inclusion, and Belonging for the third time. The Commission also hosted a study visit team from the Ombudsman of Malawi, the Kingdom of Eswatini, and the Director of International Relations at the Danish Parliamentary Ombudsman. We also expanded our outreach efforts and held an Ombudsman Open Day, as well as taking part in the 5th People's Dialogue Festival. In terms of strengthening partnerships and collaborations, the Commission entered into a partnership with URAIA Trust and The African Institute for Development Policy (AFIDEP), which will help the Commission leverage the two organizations' various platforms and activities for awareness creation, promotion of the right to information, and research, among other things.en_US
