dc.description.abstractThe Commission on Administrative Justice undertook investigations following a complaint lodged at the CAJ, Kisumu office by one Mrs. Maslynne Adhiambo Oyoo regarding alleged unfair treatment, injustice and abuse of power in the recruitment of Clerical Officer II in Rachuonyo North Sub-County, Homa-Bay County. Mrs. Maslynne Adhiambo Oyoo, in her letter of complaint indicated that she applied for the position of Clerical Officer II in Rachuonyo North Sub-County, Homa-Bay County. She was interviewed for the position on 16th January, 2013. She was recommended for appointment but never received a letter of appointment. The nature of this complaint prompted the Commission to conduct investigations to find out circumstances surrounding the matter. The Commission sought to investigate the matter with a view to establishing the alleged unfair treatment, injustice and abuse of power by public officers involved in the recruitment exercise.en_US
